Yeah. That. At Toyota just announced its return to the World Rally Championship in 2017 with a Yaris built and designed by TMG.
As many of you may know, TMG is behind the current World Endurance Championship effort with Toyota Hybrid Racing and was formerly known as Toyota Team Europe (TTE). They also built the super cheating ST205 (1995 WRC) that had a bypass mechanism for its turbo and the most recent flexible wing on the TS040 (2014 WEC).
Speaking of the WEC, they announced the continuation of the racing program and committed their drivers to defend their World Championship and Manufacturer's Championship titles.
The #1 will be driven by Kaz Nakajima, Seb Buemi, and Anthony Davidson. A stunningly quick combination. In the latter half of the 2014 season, Seb and Ant were the fastest on the track. Add Kaz Nakajima, another stunningly quick driver and you have the world championship defending team.
The #2 car will be driven by Alex Wurz, Stephane Sarrazin and Mike Conway. A reliable, if not a little slower team of drivers. Mike defiantly proved himself during the "Lone Star Le Mans" by saving his TS040 and sliding completely sideways through the esses.

They look somewhat like Turbofans, but I don't see an "angle" to the blades, but that doesn't mean they aren't...
